Reflect In Vincent's Eyes of China Blue

Prompt from HSMSHS is Reflect

A process in which light is thrown back after impinging on a surface, or to think, meditate or ponder. Find 'Reflect' in your space.

Lyrics from Vincent by Don McLean

Starry starry night
flaming flo'rs that brightly blaze
swirling clouds in violet haze
reflect in Vincent's eyes of China blue.
Colors changing hue
morning fields of amber grain
weathered faces lined in pain
are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand

What a beautiful baby, really snuggled up to whoever is holding him, and I love your choice of song as well, I have just caught myself humming it under my breath!!

So far the come down has been ok, I have been taking it fairly easy, doing a little bit, taking a break etc! The weekend worked really well & Rach & Sue didn't mind that I needed to take breaks, it seemed to just work so I couldn't have asked for more. A lovely gossipy few days!

I have just been going back over some of the older comments that I haven't had a chance to respond to and read your wonderful post about visiting the vet rather than a doctor, and I think that you couldn't be more right. Things will reach a point where the kindest thing for Belle is the last thing that you want, but at least it will be dealt with in a dignified and kind way, and you will be able to be with her to hold her as it happens.

Why can't the medical profession have even the slightest bit of sense on this front. We struggle on day after day with awful pain that we can't properly control but without any kind options open. Not saying that I am ready to give up to any extent, but I would like the option to be open if I do reach that point. So yes, I am with you, I would love to have a vet treating me rather than a doctor.

I have a pretty good idea that a vet wouldn't try telling you that it was all in your head either, a problem that I have had only once or twice, but one where the memories will live with me forever.
